Finally we reach the final day of this gift extravaganza. I almost thought I wasn't going to make it. I am sorry I haven't been visiting your blogs recently, but hopefully after Christmas I will have lots of time to catch up. I've had a lot of fun with this series and I hope you have too. Please know that I wish you and yours a very Happy Holiday season. Now, onto the gift selection.
"Planthropology" is the latest book by Ken Druse, and it's one that I'm sure any garden lover will enjoy. Planthropology is a word he made up to describe the study of plants and their particular history. In this book he shares with us scientific facts, myths, controversies, anecdotes, and good old fashioned garden wisdom. And lots of great pictures to boot.
So if you are looking for that last minute gift for someone else or yourself, you can't go wrong this this book. List price is $50. Amazon.com has it for $31.50.

A very merry Christmas and a joyous new year to you and yours, Cindy! (I, too, loved the word "planthropology." Brilliant!)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you three wonderful friends! God bless your little darlin Lillian!
The cover photo alone on this book would make me want to buy it :) Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Cindy!

So appreciate precious time choosing these wonderful gifts; the books especially grab my soul. Thank you, Cindy, 'cause I wish all of these to be included on my bookshelves. Happy New Year!
Do this again next year! Even though I didn't comment every day, I did love it.
I agree, this book cover alone grabs your interest. As I looked it up on Amazon, it was listed with another book on my wish-list "Plant Driven Design." Ahhh... so many wonderful books. I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and best wishes for health and happiness in the upcoming year!!

Happy New Year to all! I'm sorry I haven't been answering comments lately, but now it's the new year and time for a fresh start on the blog after a Christmas break!
I just know y'all had a wonderful Christmas with Lillian! (I'm a little jealous.)
I had heard of Druse's book earlier and thought it sounded intriguing. Should I add another gardening book to my already full library of gardening books?? Hmmm, tough call!
Happy New Year to y'all!!
